The UN Global Compact is a call to companies everywhere to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and to take action in support of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Launched in 2000, the UN Global Compact is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world, with more than 25,000 companies based in over 160 countries, and more than 60 Global Compact Networks.

“Reaching Net Zero by 2040 is a clear strategic goal for Doka. Joining the UN Global Compact is therefore a logical next step that reinforces this path and, together with our commitment to the Science Based Targets initiative, demonstrates that we are taking the right steps towards this ambition,” says Robert Hauser, CEO Doka.

By joining the UN Global Compact, Doka becomes part of a global network committed to responsible business conduct. As a participant, Doka will report transparently on its progress towards the Ten Principles and contribute to advancing human rights, labour standards, environmental responsibility and anti-corruption – alongside leading construction and engineering companies such as Skanska, Vinci, STRABAG and Bouygues Construction.
