The DokaXdek range comprises three key systems: the DokaXdek table, DokaXdek panel, and DokaXdek I-frame. These systems can be used together or independently, offering unmatched flexibility while addressing critical issues around safety, ergonomics, and cost-efficiency on construction sites. Customers across Europe have already praised its ability to streamline processes, enhance safety, and boost overall cost-effectiveness. DokaXdek embodies Doka’s commitment to innovation and its dedication to supporting customers on-site.

Doka CEO Robert Hauser commented: “With DokaXdek, we’ve created a slab formwork system that meets the needs of our customers. Its flexibility and ease of use make it valuable for both small residential projects and large-scale construction sites. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are excited to bring DokaXdek to the UK, where we see significant potential for its success.”

DokaXdek Brings Innovation to UK Construction Sites

DokaXdek has already been implemented on numerous construction projects across Europe. One standout project is the ‘Dalgårdstunet’ residential development in Norway, where the DokaXdek table was used to manage the supply of 9,000 m3 of in-situ concrete for 115 flats and 14 terraced homes. The system’s user-friendly design and durability made it the ideal choice for this large-scale project.

The DokaXdek table comes in sizes ranging from 4m x 2m to 5m x 2.5m and features a compact, hot-dip galvanized steel frame just 12 cm in height. This design ensures a long product life and optimizes transportation, contributing to a reduced carbon footprint.

In Germany, DokaXdek has been used in various projects, including a four-storey commercial property in Bavaria and a residential development in Munich with 250 units. The system's ease of assembly, quick repositioning, and low construction height have significantly reduced costs while maintaining high safety standards.

DokaXdek also played a critical role in the construction of a four-storey clinic in Treuchtlingen, Germany, where speed and safety were essential. The lightweight system requires only two operators to assemble, with built-in anti-liftout guards providing additional safety.

In Austria, the DokaXdek panel slab formwork is currently being used on one of the country’s largest construction projects—a 109m high-rise in Linz. The project, which includes residential apartments, offices, shops, and a hotel, benefits from DokaXdek’s easy-to-assemble panels, which ensure safe and efficient formwork.

Looking ahead, Robert Hauser expressed optimism about DokaXdek's impact on the UK market. “The construction industry is increasingly focused on improving safety, enhancing cost-efficiency, and reducing CO2 emissions. With DokaXdek, we are helping our customers meet these challenges head-on. We are excited to share more with our UK customers as they begin to experience the system’s benefits firsthand."
