Lingen cooling tower

Germany

The project at the giant Lingen power-station complex was to build a new cooling tower with a 90 m diameter at the bottom of the shell, tapering to approx. 54 m by the waist of the tower. 90 climbing units of the Doka cooling-tower formwork system SK175 were in action during the construction operations, reaching the final shell height of 123 m in 75 casting steps.
